The The Midnight Horse Show
The Midnight Horse Show is not about the host. It is not about the writers or the producers. It is not about egos. Rather, it’s about all the horses that make this program worth doing. It’s about a big chestnut named Ace who came to the farm as a last resort instead of being destroyed. It's about the pain we all felt when he lost his eye to a terrible decease. It’s about how no one would give up on him and it was the agony we all felt while writing and producing his story - "The Big Chestnut". It’s about a headstrong young colt born on the farm named Wulfegang. It’s about an old Mare named Lady Ashley that was targeted to end her days at a riding stable being jerked around by city cowboys, drunks and spoiled kids.

It's about how everyone fell in love with her the moment she stepped out of the trailer and walked into every ones heart. And, it is about an old man who gave his heart to and old mare named – Georgie. No, we don’t have "Personalities" on the show. We don’t have stars, at least two legged ones, for you see, we all check our egos at the door. So, if you’re a horse owner, a horse lover or just a kind hearted human – we invite you to sit back and enjoy an emotional ride that will touch your soul.

Some shows will tear your heart out while others – well – they will make you smile. And some may just take you back in time when life was indeed simple and pure, when you were full of energy and had so many great plans for the future. The The Horse Show
Rick Lamb was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. He had a passionate interest in horses from an early age but few opportunities to be around them. Instead, he focused on music, turning pro at the age of 14 and fostering talents that he would repeatedly call upon in the coming decades.

By 2003, Rick had racked up six industry awards for his radio shows, had started emceeing live events, and was appearing occasionally on television and video. That year he also landed a contract for his first book, a joint project with Dr. Robert M. Miller titled The Revolution in Horsemanship. As the year came to a close, Rick succumbed to the nagging desire to play music again, and formed a partnership with veteran singer/guitarist Jay Casmirri. Today The Blenderz play publicly whenever their busy schedules allow.

2005 brought three more industry awards for The Horse Show and Rick's second book, Horse Smarts for the Busy Rider, a unique collection of radio scripts from The Horse Show Minute.

A confessed workaholic, Rick enjoys nothing more than being immersed in multiple creative projects. He and Diana live in Phoenix with three horses, Candy, Savannah, and Sarah, and a black cat named Angus. They have three grown children, sons Ryan and Todd, and daughter, Blair. http://www.thehorseshow.com
The Horse Show can be heard Saturday at Noon, and 8pm, Monday at 2pm.

Ray Ray Brown’s Talkin Birds
Back in the early 1990s, Ray hosted a weekend call-in talk show on Boston’s WBZ radio which featured a wide range of world, national, and local issues. But the topic that generated the greatest number of calls, lighting up the lines throughout the program and for a half- hour after the program ended, was...birdwatching!

This phenomenon was demonstrated again and again as Ray re-introduced this topic on subsequent programs. And... the call volume was followed by a remarkable flow of mail--from backyard birdwatchers and adventure birders, from birdwatching clubs, and from groups with special projects like trying to bring bluebirds back to Massachusetts.

That experience convinced Ray that a radio program about birds was a viable concept, and, after filing the idea away for about a decade, he finally set about putting such a program together. He convinced WATD-FM on Massachusetts' South Shore that this concept could work, and in April of 2005 the show had its debut. It has proven to be a great success, drawing phone calls from over 25 cities and towns in southeastern Massachusetts, and earning great support from listeners and advertisers alike. http://www.talkinbirds.com
Ray Brown’s Talkin Birds can be heard Sunday Live at 9:30am, and Wednesday Replay at Noon.
